I tell stories.

My name is Paul Macklin. And I am a writer. 

It began when my nan started sending me poetry. I was seven years old. In return, I'd send her short comic strips with my own imagined super heroes. 

Now, I have written four poetry collections, my work has been performed internationally, and I am exploring doctorate-level research in experimental, performance-based literature.

I am currently offering school visits for my children's poem The Mischievious Pimplegrim, and working on a children's story entitled Riley Wild and the Broken Wing, that explores themes of belonging.
