Stories at school.

Much of my professional career has revolved around schools.

I am an award-winning teacher who has performed in schools across the U.K. and internationally, developed and delivered a week-long crash course in learning English as a second language through stories abroad, and I have taught royalty.

My thesis, in part, focusses on how different people experience the learning process. That is a philosophy I am passionate to embody in my school visits.

Now I am offering author talks and interactive workshops directly related to my own story worlds.

The Mischievous Pimplegrim

The North Pole has gone missing.

And everyone thinks they know who did it. But do they?

The Mischievous Pimplegrim is a fun and whimsical festive tale for the Christmas season. The visit includes a reading, an interactive workshop, a Q&A and follow-up worksheets and lesson plan.

Children will design their own elves, explore what it is like to walk and talk like their elves, and finally graduate from Elf Academy.

The Impossible Map.

24 schools will create a story.

And I have 24 hours to bring that story to life.

As part of a mission to raise money for charity, I will work with 24 classes to talk about what makes a story, and they will use their imaginations and skill to fill in the gaps on a fantastical map.

I will then find a way to recreate this in the real world, and turn our story into a book that will be shared with the participating schools.
