I don't know that I'd ever call myself an artist. At least, not in the same way I'd call my mum an artist. She was a painter. I have friends who can draw, friends who are tattoo artists, friends who are set designers. 

But art for me is just playing with visuals. Trying to make things pretty. Expressing my ideas and feelings. Maybe that is art. Maybe it isn't. I suppose that is for you to decide.
